Professor Peter Groves is a highly experienced consultant cardiologist based in Cardiff. With more than 35 years in clinical practice, he is skilled in diagnosing and managing a wide range of heart conditions, including those presenting with chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, dizziness, and fainting.
He has a particular focus on structural heart disease and has extensive experience performing procedures such as percutaneous coronary interventions, TAVI, ASD and PFO closures, MitraClip, and mitral balloon valvuloplasty. This expertise allows him to thoroughly assess and select patients who are most suitable for these treatments.
Professor Groves runs a ‘one-stop’ cardiology clinic, where patients receive a full clinical assessment alongside non-invasive cardiac tests in a single visit, ensuring prompt, expert advice and minimal disruption.
