Mr. Malek completed his specialist registrar training with the Wales Deanery and went on to undertake a fellowship in lower limb arthroplasty and reconstruction at Stanmore, London.

His clinical focus is on minimally invasive hip and knee replacement surgery, combined with the Enhanced Recovery Programme. This approach promotes faster recovery, reduces postoperative complications such as pain and bleeding, and delivers an overall improved patient experience.

In recognition of his work, Global Health and Pharma awarded him Best Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon in Staffordshire in 2018 and Best Orthopaedic Hip and Knee Surgeon in Staffordshire in 2019.

Mr. Malek specialises in minimally invasive hip and knee replacement surgery, combined with Enhanced Recovery Protocols. With this approach, surgical scars can be as small as 2.5 inches for hip replacements and 4 inches for knee replacements. Together, these techniques enable faster recovery, quicker rehabilitation, reduced complication rates, and greater patient satisfaction. He currently performs more than 400 joint replacements each year.
